HU-4
The Formula Student competition is a global competition between universities, where racing teams, run by students, build race cars according to FS regulations and compete against each other. In 2022, The Hague University of Applied Science challenged my team and me to design the body of the HU-4.
The challenge
To design the body panels of the HU-4 to compete in the Formula Student competition. Consider aerodynamic principles and branding opportunities to build a car that is both aerodynamically effective, and memorable.
This project required me to learn new skills and apply my knowledge of technical design to a new and challenging field. Using the knowledge I gained from classes, and from self-study, I guided my team to design and build the aerodynamic package for the HU-4.
